Maria Callapez grew up in Figueira da Foz, Portugal, in front of the sea and the waves, in a natural environment that is reflected in the core of her music. She began studying classical music at a very young age and became interested in other forms of musical expression. She found in electronic music her way of artistic creation. Maria Callapez production can be understood as a sound journey that leads to a sensitive experience, navigating between light and the dark tones. To do so, she imagines environments of freedom, around nature, as spaces of expansion and union among all beings!
